How to enable Macros in Excel 2007?

Here we go! Another Excel 2003 addict migrated to 2007. So, you need help in enabling Macros in 2007 excel. You are on the right place. :)

Seriously you don't know about Macros?? Then this post is not for you.

If you want to know in detail about Macros, click here, it will redirect to Microsoft's page about Macros. I am actually not interested in copy-pasting the stuff, i like doing it only in office. :P

For those who are still using Excel 2003, to enable macros, just go to Tools--->Macros.

Excel 2007 comes with a new interface called Ribbons. Microsoft hid the Macros by default. Macros are found on Developers tab in ribbon in Excel 2007.

Oh..please!! Now what is Developer's tab??
Since Macros is related to writing some kind of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) code, so the Macros and VBA related stuff are placed on Developer's tab.

How to reveal the Developer's tab button on Excel 2007??

Here we go!!!!

Step1: Open Microsoft Excel 2007.
Step 2: Click on the Office button.
Step3: Click on Excel Options

Step4: Select the Popular tab from the left pane. (Don't worry, Microsoft has set this tab as the default one)

Step5: Now Check 'Show Developer tab in the ribbon'. (If it is already checked...please relax for some time and then check the tabs...you will fiend Developer tab on the ribbon :) :))

Step6: Click OK, after checking the box.
Step7: Now check the Ribbon, you will find a new tab named as Developer.

Step 8: Now Click on Macro Security --> Macro Settings --> Enable All Macros.

Finally you did it. Great!!! Happy working.. :)
